British ski workers barricade themselves in luxury chalet over pay dispute
Seven British chalet hosts have barricaded themselves in a luxury ski chalet after claiming they have not been paid. The four women, including a Cambridge University graduate, and three men locked themselves in an exclusive ski lodge rented out by their employer and vowed not to leave until they receive their wages. They claim they were unfairly dismissed from jobs in the French Alpine resort of Les Menuires and allege British ski firm Skithe3v owes them three weeks' wages and travel expenses totalling 4,500 euros between them.
